Applications are open to Bachelor students in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioinformatics and similar, willing to enroll into a Master Programme as the next step in their academic career.

N.B. Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees will need to abide by any legal restrictions at the time of the School. Since legislation is in constant evolution, both in Italy and other countries, please be aware of your local and Italian laws. Regarding the latter, this link has continuosly updated information. As a general indication, at the moment you need to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 in order to attend the School. More specific information will be provided to accepted scholars closer to the School.

This fee will be fully refunded to all participants after the completion of the School. Accepted participants who fail to attend the School will not be refunded (see also the Cancellation Policy section below).
Lodging is not included in the fee and each participant is responsible for his/her own accommodation. Should you need assistance in finding a place, please contact the organisers.
Accepted candidates will be contacted within 20 May 2022 to finalize the registration. Participation needs to be confirmed by paying the registration fee within 10 June 2022. Succesfull candidates will receive detailed information about the payment procedure through their personal myMBPD page.
If a participant cannot attend the School no refund will be provided, except for COVID-related problems. In such cases, which must be adequately documented, 80% of the registration fee will be refunded.
If you need a visa to enter Italy (check https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/en), contact the necessary authorities once your application has been accepted. Please pay particular attention to this issue since delays could severely compromise your participation.

Each participant is responsible for arranging personal insurance coverage for the duration of the Summer School (e.g., accident, liability and health insurance for travel and stay abroad, including evacuation, theft insurance for one's personal effects, etc).
The organisers are not liable for any costs or damages. For the whole duration of the Summer School, the organisers shall not be liable for any damages to people or property caused by sovereign acts of any government, acts of nature or by third parties.
